About Mariam

During my time in education, I’ve noticed how much a teacher or tutor can impact a student’s performance. Often, the teaching style provided at school may not match the way a student learns best. I believe that a student-centred approach—tailoring lessons to each individual’s needs—can unlock a student’s potential, boost confidence, and inspire them to achieve more. My goal as a tutor is to create an environment where students feel supported, engaged, and motivated to reach their full capabilities.

About the lesson

I believe that learning works best in an interactive and enjoyable environment. By making lessons engaging and fun, I aim to help students not only understand the material but also develop a genuine motivation and love for learning. My approach goes beyond simply delivering content. I incorporate creative activities and practical exercises to help students retain knowledge effectively while enjoying the process. I am most familiar with AQA Biology, however I can definitely tailor the lesson for Edexcel, OCR or any other exam boards if needed.
