About Imaan
I am a dedicated sophomore university student majoring in Health and Society at the University of Texas at Austin. I have always had a passion for tutoring and mentorship and have enjoyed helping my peers excel and improve in their problem subjects. Whether you need help with mastering foundational principles, tackling tough assignments, or preparing for exams, I bring patience, structured guidance and a supportive approach to help you reach your academic goals.

- I typically start by getting my student to tell me what they already know about the concepts that they struggle with. From there, I know how I can help fill in the gaps. I like to do this in advance for every session so I can have the information free in my head.
- In the interest of not wasting my student's time, I almost exclusively focus on what they don't understand. This also means it is up to my student to effectively communicate with me on what they are struggling with. I cannot help if a student simply says "I don't get any of this."
-As for my experience, my teaching and mentoring abilities come from my time as a volunteer teacher's assistant for religious education classes at my local religious center. For three years, I participated in the implementation of lesson plans and review sessions for students.
- The lessons are primarily for freshman college students just starting in their STEM journey as well as AP high school students that are taking similar coursework.
