About Aurora
In Italy, before leaving for the UK, I used to privately tutor secondary school pupils in English as well as help in running an after-school youth club where I mainly help troubled teenagers to complete their homework.
I have also been an aupair for three years, so I have gained a lot of experience with children and helping them with their homeworks, as well as teaching them some Italian.
I then qualified to teach English as a second language and have been a teacher for a few years, with experience at all levels, including conversation and professional English.

I am an Italian 28 years old with bilingual English proficiency.
I have a Bachelor in International Relations and a MA in Media and Communication.
I believe that language should be something to enjoy, not just another school subject/boring task.
Learning is different for everyone, and often a hard process, but not impossible!
I learned from my own experience as a language student that the best way to excel is to 'get your hand dirty', and try, try try. Don't be ashamed to make mistakes, just be open to learn from them. Grammar is important, but I also believe that listening, to songs, watching movies and talking are as equally important to get a 360 degree comprehension of the language.
If it gets tough, tell me your expectations and needs, I'll work to find the best suited way for you to enjoy learning Italian!
