About Yashni
My name is Dr. Yashni, and I am passionate about teaching Chemistry because I enjoy helping students understand scientific concepts and discover how Chemistry influences everyday life. With my academic background and teaching experience, I find great satisfaction in guiding students to overcome learning challenges and achieve their academic goals. I believe education has the power to inspire curiosity, critical thinking, and lifelong learning, and I am motivated by the opportunity to make a positive impact on students' personal and professional development. As a Chemistry tutor, I adopt a student-centred and interactive teaching approach that focuses on building a strong understanding of fundamental concepts while making learning engaging and relevant. I explain complex topics using simple language, real-life examples, visual aids, and problem-solving exercises to help students connect theory with practical applications. During my lessons, I encourage active participation through discussions, questioning, and hands-on activities where appropriate. I continuously assess students’ understanding through quizzes, practice questions, and feedback sessions, allowing me to identify learning gaps and provide targeted support. My goal is to create a positive learning environment that enhances students’ confidence, critical thinking skills, and academic performance in Chemistry.
