About Nguyen
Hi, I’m Lam Minh Thu Nguyen (you can call me Sally!) I'm a passionate tutor and first-year postgraduate medical student at Monash University and already completed my Bachelor of Biomedical Science at Monash University. I’ve had the opportunity to tutor students in subjects like Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and English, and I love helping others break down complex topics into simpler, easy-to-understand parts. In our lessons, I focus on interactive learning— that means asking questions, using real-world examples, and checking in with you regularly to make sure you really get the concept. I’m patient, supportive, and always ready to adapt to your learning style. My lessons are typically 60 minutes long, and they’re designed for high school and early university students, or anyone who’s passionate about science or wants help with academic writing or English communication. Aside from tutoring, I’m also a content creator on platforms like YouTube and TikTok, where I share tips about studying abroad and student life in Australia. So, if you ever want advice beyond academics— like how to study effectively or balance student life— I’ve got you covered too! I’m excited to support you on your learning journey. I'm Lam Minh Thu Nguyen or you can call me Sally, and I'm here to make learning both enjoyable and effective. My lessons typically run for 60 minutes, giving us enough time to explore concepts in depth, practice together, and answer any questions you may have. My teaching style is student-centered and interactive— I break down complex topics into simple, understandable parts and tailor each session to your learning style. I use a mix of visual aids, real-life examples, and active recall techniques to help you grasp and retain information better. I hold a Bachelor of Biomedical Sciences at Monash University and have 3 years of tutoring experience in Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology. I'm also eligible for tutoring IELTS, English as a Second Language. Over the years, I’ve supported students of all levels, from middle school to university, helping them boost their confidence, improve their grades, and achieve their academic goals. My lessons are perfect for students aged 15-19 who are seeking support in previously mentioned subjects, I am also capable for some University units whether you're catching up, preparing for exams, or aiming to extend your knowledge.
