About Harley
I graduated top 15 percent of my class at the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Science in molecular, cellular, developmental biology. I earned highest marks in my Master’s program where I studied the science of ancient color in Canterbury, United Kingdom. I have three years of professional laboratory experience and I currently work in an academic research laboratory studying viruses to help save lives!
Science can be a daunting subject! But I fully believe that all students can, not only learn, but excel in science with the guidance of a good instructor. I wouldn’t be where I am today without the dedication and passion my teachers have had.
The best teachers I had emphasized student-led learning and creativity. I have carried these ideals on in my own work as a tutor in my undergraduate years, as a speaker at conferences, and as a trainer of new scientists.

Each lesson will have predefined learning objectives based on your goals and objectives. The lesson will begin with a recap of previous lessons and a quick knowledge check to gauge understanding and identify areas of interest. We will then move on to new material with an emphasis on student-led development and real-world examples. To conclude we will go over our learning objectives to ensure all are met and my student can ask any remaining questions.
