About Stephen
I am a student in a molecular biology degree program with an emphasis on bioengineering and genetics. I have experience helping middle schoolers and high schoolers learn the concepts of biology and have often been praised for my attention on individual learners. I love helping others find a connection between them and what they are learning in biology.

I love hands-on methods of teaching, and would rather have kids succeed in labs and understand them, then have them perform rote memorization. I do this by using a variety of teaching materials and emphasizing how the subject impacts the life of the learner. I don't intend to replace a formal teacher, rather I hope to offer students additional support and hopefully spend more time on the areas of most concern.
