About Anesu
I am a scientist working in molecular and computational biology, with a strong background in biochemistry, biomedical sciences and bioinformatics. I have hands-on experience with next-generation sequencing, variant calling and single-cell RNA-seq analysis, and I use this expertise to make modern biology and genetics feel clear and relevant for students at all levels.
Over the years I have helped students and researchers understand complex topics such as gene regulation, molecular pathways and experimental design, as well as interpret biological data and prepare clear reports and figures. My approach is patient, organised and supportive: I focus on creating a calm learning environment where you feel comfortable asking questions and building understanding step by step.
I take professionalism seriously: I come prepared with structured explanations, tailored examples and practice questions suited to your level, whether you are preparing for GCSE/A-level exams or tackling university modules in genetics, molecular or cell biology. My goal is to help you gain both solid knowledge and confidence in your own ability to think through biological problems.

I teach biology, genetics, molecular biology and cell biology in a structured, step-by-step way. In our sessions, I break complex ideas down into simple building blocks, use diagrams and real-world biological examples, and check understanding regularly rather than lecturing. I focus on helping you see why a concept works, not just memorise definitions.
A typical lesson is 60 minutes, but I can offer 45-minute or 90-minute sessions depending on your needs and attention span. For school and exam preparation we’ll mix short explanations with past paper questions and guided practice. For university or project-based work we’ll combine concept review with data interpretation, figure critique, and help connecting theory to experiments or assignments.
I have an academic background in biochemistry, biomedical sciences and bioinformatics, and professional experience working as a scientist in molecular and computational biology. I’ve worked with next-generation sequencing data, variant calling and single-cell RNA-seq, and I use this experience to give you concrete, real research examples that make the theory feel alive.
My lessons are suitable for:
