About Cheryl
I am passionate about listening to my students and sharing with them how their next steps look like. Having been through the system myself, I always wished I had someone to guide me in understanding why I was learning what I was learning. That is what I hope to teach you. Why you are learning this and how this will all be something that will benefit you in your future.
I also believe that learning does not have to be scary or difficult. It is about finding what method works best for you! So I am here to help you discover that too

My lessons are usually 2h per session and I focus on tackling key learning gaps and having students complete assignments so we can go through them effectively in class. I keep my lesson objectives flexible while ensuring we keep up/are ahead of the school syllabus. This is dependent on student readiness as well.
I also prioritize concept quizzing at random so that my students are consistently revising. This is complemented with note-taking all throughout the years they are tutored by me to build up their own resource bank. I will provide notes when needed.
My students and I have trusting rapport such that they look to me as a trusted adult and thus, help to grow their innate motivation in discovering their passions and future ambitions.
My students can range across P1-P6 and I am able to tailor my approach of teaching accordingly for different age groups.
