Overview:
I am a dedicated final year Modern Languages student at Durham University, focusing on French and Spanish, with a predicted First Class Honours. My passion for social impact within the creative industries is demonstrated through my ethical fashion blog and sustainable jewellery brand, showcasing my commitment to positive change.

Education & Experience:
Graduating this summer in French and Spanish from Durham University, I have engaged in diverse roles—from project internships in Madrid focusing on sustainability, to communications in French art galleries, enhancing my professional and linguistic proficiency. Leadership roles in significant charity events have further honed my organisational and strategic skills. I hope to do the upmost to unsure fun and productive lessons, inspiring growth in the subject.

About the lesson

I am a dedicated and enthusiastic tutor specialising in English Literature, French, and preparation for 7+ and 11+ exams. Having achieved high marks in my GCSEs and A Levels for this subject, I am now a final year French and Spanish student at Durham University.

My teaching methodologies:

Design and deliver engaging lessons in English Literature and French, as well as comprehensive preparation for 7+ and 11+ entrance exams.
Utilise a variety of teaching methodologies to cater to different learning styles and ensure all students are able to progress.
Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and adapt lesson plans accordingly.
Provide personalised feedback to students and devise strategies to address individual challenges.

Teaching Approach and Methodology:

Interactive Learning: Employ interactive teaching methods that involve direct engagement with the material through discussions, debates, and problem-solving activities.
Structured Lessons: Each lesson is structured to maximise learning, typically lasting 60 minutes, although I am happy to make their lessons shorter or longer, encompassing a clear introduction, detailed exploration of the subject matter, and a conclusion with feedback to consolidate understanding.

Tailored Instruction: Lessons are customised based on student assessments to address individual strengths and weaknesses, particularly focusing on exam techniques for 7+ and 11+ exams.
Qualifications and Experience:

Experience and age:
I have over 5 years experience in teaching English as a foreign language to a variety of different ages.
My lessons are for 6-12 (encompassing the 7 and 11+) and GCSE students.
