Learning an instrument should feel like a creative release, though I admit that the initial struggle with hand positioning can feel quite awkward at first. My background as an MMus graduate allows me to break down barre chords and blues progressions into manageable steps for kids and grade exam candidates alike.
I provide free chord charts and tab sheets shared after each class to ensure you have a reference point during your practice time at home. Seeing you apply these concepts during our sessions confirms that you are developing a true musical ear. I emphasise a logical progression that builds your confidence while we work through your repertoire together.

I draw upon my 13 years of experience and a formal MMus Voice from Guildhall to help you understand music through a more analytical lens.
