About Victoria
Learning a new language happens best when you are actually comfortable. You should not worry about making mistakes because they are the only way to progress. We start by conducting a diagnostic level test to build a concrete roadmap for your specific interests.
This allows us to focus on practical skills like interview preparation or simple travel phrases. I integrate my vocal expertise into the lesson to refine your articulation of difficult vowel sounds. Your verb conjugation will improve through consistent usage rather than rote memorisation.
We will move through these structures until you feel entirely confident speaking. You will leave our time together ready to navigate your next trip with ease.

Language learning felt like a natural extension of my classical music training at the Royal College of Music. I spent my early years observing how linguistic cadence mirrors musical phrasing. These 13 years spent teaching have solidified my belief that syntax and song are inseparable. My Cambridge background allows me to decode complex idioms for my pupils.
I bring my vocal training into our conversations to improve your accent. You will find me sitting in your living room helping you bridge the gap between simple speech and nuanced expression. I find that connecting with a student in their own home is the most effective way to learn. I am quite fond of a strong espresso to start our time together.
