About Sylvia
"Barre chords, lead guitar techniques, and complex music theory form the backbone of the instruction I provide. Having spent 13 years working in the studio and on stage, I now offer full time guitar training for a wide variety of students. My degree from Trinity Laban Conservatoire ensures that my methods for teaching scales, modes, and rhythm guitar are grounded in rigorous musical training.
I work with absolute beginners and performance-focused students alike to navigate reading tabs or sheet music effectively. Guitar playing requires precision. I combine this technical focus with a deep understanding of songwriting and strumming patterns to help you play better. Whether you are tackling power chords or complex lead lines, my experience helps you reach your specific goals."

"Your first session involves a direct assessment of your current playing ability. I have taught 175 students throughout my 13 years of active musical work.
We jump right into rhythm guitar and essential theory immediately. You learn how to structure your practice for maximum efficiency.
Every drill connects to a musical outcome you can hear. I keep things moving at a steady, productive pace. We avoid wasted time.
My goal is to ensure you feel confident holding the instrument. You will leave ready to perform with authority."
