About Mckenzie
Since completing my MMus Music Performance at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music, I have spent 13 years refining the art of violin pedagogy. It is interesting how 55 students have progressed through my studio, each focusing on vibrato, grade exam prep, classical repertoire, and music theory. We spend considerable time on left hand agility, tone production, bowing technique, intonation, and tuning by ear. I find that simplifying complex mechanics into manageable parts brings immense joy to the process of mastering this instrument.
