About Mitchell
I have been teaching guitar on and off for about 8 years, played for 20, and I would like to take this to a level where I can teach more consistently and grow as a teacher. Likewise, I love the satisfaction of seeing a student finally be able to tackle a new piece or riff they were practicing, or even just something as simple as a chord change they couldn't do before.
The beauty of guitar (and music) is how trackable and tangible the improvement can be and in the different goals and techniques you can improve and aim for. I hope to help you develop your musical journey further!

On our first lesson, the goal is to come up with concrete long term and short term goals to where you want to be with guitar. We can figure out what inspires you and what you want to work on, and make each lesson and improvement engaging and worth your time. As a student, I have often left lessons where I left dejected or dreading having to practice, so I have a lot of perspective on how to make lessons and practice material/pieces enjoyable but still productive.
I specialize in Beginner and Intermediate guitarists who are still finding their interests and their voice with their instrument!
