About Xinghui
I’m an MIT graduate in Mathematics with Computer Science with several years of paid teaching and tutoring experience. I’ve worked with students across a wide range of skill levels, from building foundational confidence to tackling more advanced problem-solving. What I enjoy most about tutoring is helping students reach that moment when a difficult concept finally clicks. I’m patient, encouraging, and committed to creating a comfortable environment where students feel confident asking questions and making mistakes as they learn.

My lessons are personalized around each student’s current level, goals, and learning style. I focus on helping students understand the reasoning behind math concepts rather than simply memorizing formulas or procedures. We work through problems step by step, identify areas of confusion, and build strategies that students can eventually use independently. I also adjust the pace and structure of lessons based on each student’s needs, with an emphasis on building confidence alongside stronger mathematical skills.
