About Chloe

Hi, I’m Chloe!

My background combines strong academic skills with a creative mindset, which allows me to approach problems in flexible and engaging ways. I’m especially interested in how different students think and learn, and I enjoy finding approaches that make concepts click for each individual.

I’m known for being calm, patient, and easy to talk to. I take the time to really listen, so students feel understood and supported rather than rushed or pressured. I also value consistency and responsibility, and I make sure to show up prepared and fully committed to each lesson.

Above all, I want students to feel capable. When they start to realize they can figure things out on their own and that’s the environment I aim to create.

About the lesson

I approach teaching math as a balance between structure and curiosity, especially for younger learners. My goal is not just to help students get the right answer, but to build confidence, problem-solving skills, and a better understanding of how math works in everyday life. I use a mix of visual aids, hands-on activities, and real-world examples to make abstract concepts feel concrete and engaging.

A typical lesson begins with a quick review to reinforce previous concepts, followed by introducing a new idea in a simple, relatable way. We then work through guided examples together before moving into independent practice, where I support students as they build confidence. I also like to include short games or interactive challenges to keep lessons fun and help reinforce learning in a low-pressure way.

What sets me apart is my patience and ability to adapt to each student’s learning style. I understand that every child learns differently, so I tailor my approach, whether that means slowing things down, using more visuals, or turning a concept into a story or game. I focus on creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes.

My lessons are designed for students from Kindergarten through 6th grade, whether they need help building foundational skills, catching up in class, or getting ahead. I work with a range of levels and aim to make math feel less intimidating and more approachable for every student.
