About Mirella
I’m Mirella, a highly motivated GCSE History tutor who genuinely wants the best for every student willing to put in the effort. I know what it feels like to start off unsure, not working at your full potential, and doubting your ability. I’ve been there myself. But with the right revision techniques, structure, and consistency, I turned things around — achieving a Grade 9 in GCSE History and now studying A-Level History.
That journey is exactly why I’m passionate about helping others. I want students to feel supported, capable, and confident, no matter where they’re starting from. I believe that with commitment and the right guidance, we can achieve any grade together. My goal is to make History clear, engaging, and manageable, while helping students build strong exam skills and real understanding. I care about my students’ progress, and I’m dedicated to helping them reach the results they’re aiming for.

My lessons are designed to help students learn confidently and effectively. I use structured lessons that break each topic down into clear, manageable steps, starting with key concepts and building up to full exam-style answers. I focus heavily on active recall, because it’s one of the most powerful ways to strengthen memory and improve long-term understanding.
Every session is fully adapted to the student, so they learn in the way that suits them best. Once the core ideas are secure, we move on to targeted practice questions and past papers to develop strong exam technique. This helps students understand exactly what examiners are looking for and how to apply their knowledge under pressure. My goal is to make each lesson engaging, personalised, and focused on real progress.
