About Jenna
I am a Middle School Special Educator living in Boston. I have experience teaching and tutoring students of all ages and in all subjects. Most of my work tutoring has been in Spanish as well as English and Language Arts. I have experience in teaching literacy of all ages and I have been trained in Wilson Reading. I have a Master's degree in Special Education and a Bachelor's degree in Spanish.

I love making learning something fun and exciting. I try to teach in a way that enables students to take agency over their own learning. There is nothing better than seeing a student have the "lightbulb moment". I like to incorporate my students' interests into lessons. I am constantly getting data and feedback from students so that I can revise future lessons to best suit a student's needs.
