About Alexis
While I n undergrad, I tutored high school and college students in science and French. While working on my masters, I tutored a student hoping to pass her biology SOL test (she did!). I obtained my B.S in Biology from Tuskegee University and my Masters in Education from George Washington University. I currently teach 7th grade life science and have previously taught 6th grade science for three years.

I prefer to keep it simple. I work at my students level and keep them engaged by making my actitvites relevant and relatable to them. I speak to my students in their language- meaning, I explain topics/content in a manner that they can understand. I also like to have fun and make activities as engaging as possible.
