About Karoline
I am a middle school Mathematics teacher. I have taught in North Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, and Virginia. I have a degree in Middle Grades Education with a focus in Mathematics. I also have a Master's in Curriculum and Instruction. I scored a 200/200 on Middle Grades Mathematics Praxis II and a 190/200 on the Algebra I Praxis II.

I have taught 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students for 13 years. I have taught at an International Baccalaureate school. I've also taught students that have been academically gifted, and those with special learning needs.
My goal as a teacher has been to make Mathematics come alive. I strive to give my students real-life context in which to solve problems to bring a deeper understanding of the material.
