I tell stories that students can relate to in order to make math problems easier to understand and memorable. My students and I use math manipulatives, which make learning fun and engaging. I love numbers and everything that comes with them, and my students grow to love math as well. Once we work together, they begin to say, “Okay, I see why math is so important in life and it’s fun!”
