About Danielle
I have taught math for five years and love being able to help students understand math. In middle school, I found math class to be challenging and never understood what I was doing; I was able to get by through memorization of patterns. It wasn't until teaching math that I began to love it. Everyone can be a "math person"!

I like to begin my lessons with math facts. All higher level mathematics depends upon good arithmetic. Then I review the concept. Finally, I give the student practice problems that start off simple and build with complexity. We will also spend time learning strategies on how to solve challenging problems and how to check their own work.
