About Lina
I am an experienced Microsoft Excel tutor with 17 years of teaching experience. I teach students of all levels, from beginners to advanced learners, helping them build strong practical skills in Excel. Over the years, I have successfully trained around 150 students and guided them to become confident in using Excel for academics, assignments, and professional work.
My teaching philosophy is based on simplicity, clarity, and hands-on practice. I believe that Excel is best learned by doing, so I focus on step-by-step explanations followed by regular practice. I start with basic topics like data entry, formatting, and simple formulas, then move to advanced areas such as pivot tables, data analysis, charts, dashboards, and automation techniques. I also include related tools like Microsoft Word and PowerPoint to improve overall productivity skills.
I make learning easy by using real-life examples such as budgeting, reports, and data tracking. This helps students understand how Excel is used in real situations. I encourage problem-solving and independent thinking so students can apply their knowledge confidently.
I am patient, supportive, and flexible in my teaching style. I understand that each student learns differently, so I adjust my methods according to their pace and needs. I also provide regular feedback to help students improve continuously.

My teaching approach in Microsoft Excel is practical, structured, and focused on real world skills. I also include related areas such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and basic data handling skills to support overall productivity and career readiness.
