About Luis
Ive been tutoring math since I was a freshman studying at University of Washington. Now I’m a data scientist at Microsoft and I have a passion for helping others learn. Mathematics is both a science and an art and we shouldn’t reduce it to a mechanical process. My goal is to make math more approachable and practical so you can ACE your math classes.

I always take an organic approach to teaching math! With 10 years of tutoring a diverse set of students from elementary math to AP computer science, I take an open minded approach that adapts to the students needs. With mathematics, I typically like to start with what the student is currently working on, then working through the pain points by reviewing concepts, practicing problems and working on intuitive problem solving skills that help set up the student for success in the future.
