About Himanshu
I'm currently enrolled at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln where I'm part of the honors program and am currently studying Microbiology and English on a pre-PharmD/PhD track. I've been tutoring since my sophomore year of high school and have been teaching all types of subjects, including math, sciences, and English. I'm also involved in volunteer work and am also employed in both a microbiology research lab on my campus, as well as a local hospital in pharmaceutical sterile processing. I also enjoy writing, playing badminton, and cooking.

After tutoring all types of subjects ranging from precalculus to college essay writing, I've developed a tutoring style that revolves around a verified 4-step plan: instruct the concept, apply an example, work through an example together, and have the student teach the concept back to me. This ensures that the student not only knows how to complete problems related to the topic, but also that the student knows the topic well enough that they can explain it their own words. My lessons will be both student and teacher led, allowing the student to be open about what they need from me and for me to tell the student what I think will benefit them the most.
