About Lauren
I am a pre-veterinary student at Michigan State University with a strong background in English and a genuine passion for reading, writing, and communication. Even though my major is in the sciences, English has always been one of my greatest strengths, and I’ve continued to build that foundation through college-level English courses and consistent academic writing experience. Growing up as an athlete, I learned discipline, teamwork, and strong communication skills—qualities that now shape the way I work with students. I enjoy connecting with people, explaining concepts clearly, and helping others feel confident in their abilities. My love for reading and writing has made me a thoughtful, patient tutor who understands how to break down assignments, strengthen ideas, and guide students toward clearer, more effective writing. In my sessions, I combine structure with encouragement. I focus on helping students understand the “why” behind strong writing so they can build lasting skills, not just complete a single assignment.
