About Meg
With an M.F.A. from the Savannah College of Art and Design, my multidisciplinary background spans painting, fibers, printmaking, installation, video, and performance art, offering a rich foundation to engage with artists, contribute to program development, and curate exhibitions. Throughout my career as a practicing artist, I have engaged with various art communities and visited internationally renowned museums, including the Luma in Arles, France, the Louvre, and Art Basel in both Miami, Florida and Basel, Switzerland. My experience includes organizing group exhibitions, curating solo exhibitions, and mentoring emerging artists as an Assistant Professor. I am deeply passionate about helping artists succeed and thrive within supportive creative environments.

I’m an MFA-trained multidisciplinary artist offering lessons in painting, drawing, photography, film, installation, and conceptual/experimental art. I tailor each lesson to the student’s interests and experience, combining demonstration, guided practice, and open-ended projects to help them develop technical skills and their own creative voice. My approach emphasizes exploration, curiosity, and confidence-building, encouraging students to experiment with different media while learning practical techniques. Lessons are suitable for students of all ages, from beginners to more advanced learners, and are designed to foster both personal expression and artistic growth.
