About Ayse

Hello, my name is Ayse pronounced I-share. I am 20 years old. I currently study criminology at undergraduate level. I was born in the UK but my parents are from North Cyprus. Having such a devoted mum meant learning Turkish was key this is why it was my first language. Growing up I remember feeling special as the language I spoke wasn't spoken by anyone else. I want Turkish to become a more universal language as I believe once you learn the basics you are all set to go. If you want to learn more about me and why this is so important please do not hesitate and feel free to drop me a message.

About the lesson

I have a unique method of teaching which is suitable for all students at different stages with different abilities. I aim to make everyone feel comfortable as I think you are more likely to pay attention and to learn that way. As Turkish isn't a language spoken regularly in the UK I would love to teach it. I love reading about laws/ regulations and the news in Turkish as well as teaching it. My lessons will start from 60 minutes ( 1 hour ) as I believe less than that is not enough time. My experience is around the ages of 10-15 at beginner level but I am certainly up for a challenge. I can promise my lessons will be both engaging and fun. I will make sure to regularly test in efficient ways to measure progress.
