About Jacqueline
Clinical rounds in a sterile hospital ward often remind me of the biological complexity I teach. I am currently in my final year of medical school at the University of Queensland, balancing clinical duties with academic excellence. Having achieved a 99+ ATAR, I now dedicate my time to tutoring high school students in Biology. Over the past 5 years, I have refined my ability to explain human anatomy and physiology to hundreds of learners.
My pedagogical focus remains on breaking down intricate systems for those in AP, IB, GCSE, and standard high school programs. It is a rewarding process to see students grasp difficult concepts like homeostasis or cellular respiration. I find that my medical training provides a unique lens for teaching evolution and natural selection.
Writing lab reports or detailing DNA and RNA structure becomes far easier when you understand the physiological context. My experience extends to plant biology and the circulatory system as well. Dealing with such diverse topics keeps my teaching sharp and relevant.
