About Emmy
I obtained my Bachelor's of Sciences in Life Sciences and my Master's of Sciences in Neuroscience. I am currently doing my Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Melbourne.
I have been tutoring predominantly high school students for the last 3 years in a variety of science subjects, and tutored English for foreign students for 2 years.

My strengths as a tutor lie in the ability of relating foreign concepts into a way that is more relatable for the student. Particularly in sciences, this involves using analogies to link concepts into every day scenarios and casual language. Scientific language can often be frustrating to understand, so translating these concepts using every day language often helps student visualize what's happening!
