About Helen
I am highly experienced in providing functional skills, GCSE English tutoring and ESOL in college, vocational and private settings, with both classes and on a one-to-one basis. Teaching is my passion, and with over 25 years experience, I believe I can bring the best out of anyone. I have developed a vast library of learning materials which can be adapted to meet individual need, and my record is exemplary, not only with academic results but in the levels of motivation I have been able to build with my students.

My teaching method is about consideration for individual need, developing learning plans to consider the
level, learning style, background, culture and interests of learners. More than anything, I want to inspire the learners to do the best they can and even surprise themselves - and I want it to be fun, so that they come back for more, and to build confidence and life skills which will give them a platform for a successful future.
