About Logan
Hello! I'm Logan, your next tutor for math or physics. A bit on me: I graduated in 2018 from Colorado State University with my degree in Geology/Geophysics and a minor in Mathematics. During my time as a student, I tutored other undergraduate students in Structural Geology and completed a capstone project centered on concepts from Differential Equations and Linear Algebra. Additionally, I completed graduate level geophysics coursework and research in Geodynamics and Seismology... It's a lot of math!
After college, I went on to work in the field of Civil Engineering for and did a brief stint as a Geotechnical Engineer before deciding to become a tutor instead. I finding helping others to be more fulfilling than working a 9-5, and hopefully I can put my passion to use to get you where you need to be academically.

I work with students 1 on 1 via Zoom and tools like Math Whiteboard. Math Whiteboard is an online whiteboard for collaborative problem solving.
A typical lesson plan starts starts by meeting the student where they're at by allowing some time at the beginning to learn which problems and concepts need the most focus. From there, we can spend the time working specific problems or talking through a concept.
Because I come from a Geophysics background, I am knowledgeable on topics ranging from Math to Physics to Natural Sciences. Accommodations can be made to work with students on more than one subject.
I provide lessons for high school level Math up to Pre-Calc and Calculus, high school level Physics, and college-level geology courses.

Details
Because it's important to have a good working relationship between tutor and student, my first free lesson typically consists of a brief getting-to-know and discussion of what type of help is needed so I can be prepared to help. If time allows, we can work a problem or two.
