About Yahya
Hi! I'm a 3rd year Medical student at Imperial College London. As a tutor I aim to offer guidance in navigating through your education. From those who want to move up sets in secondary to those wanting to go to Russell group universities or do competitive degrees.
When I was a student in sixth form I realised the hardest bit of school was not academic studies but worrying about all the extra things I needed to do without support or guidance. I hope to not only help students grasp their learning but also make their lives easier through applications, interviews and extracurricular. With my students I'd like to build a mentor-mentee relationship rather than a tutor-tutee, offering my help at anytime across the day and hope I can be as beneficial as possible.
Coming from a disadvantaged household I don't want money to be a reason why some students can't get receive guidance and opportunities so for those whom come are in low income or disadvantaged household I can offer my services for cheaper than advertised provided that proof is given.

I have tutored secondary school students, as well as A level students preparing for their exams and university UCAS applications. Each lesson was customised to address the specific needs and learning styles of each student. Collaborated with teachers and parents to create an optimal support system for the student. Offered a variety of study material and practice questions to stretch students to their potential and enhance their learning experience.
My teaching is catered to the students desires as well as the subject and type of study.
-For GCSE students focused on the important bits and helped students filter out less high yield content to ensure they were able to manage their time across all their studies
-For A-Level students helped students manage the massive workload and offered extensive exam prep.
-For early year medical students I focused on retaining important, exam relevant information and pattern recognition for specific conditions.
