About Will
I grew up near Brighton, East Sussex before gaining a deferred entry place for Medicine at the University of Oxford. During my medical degree I have tutored regularly alongside my studies as I thoroughly enjoy both the learning and teaching process. The majority of my tutoring has been online with MyTutor but I have also provided lots of face-to-face tuition for my own private students. In addition, I also secured a lectureship at Worcester College, University of Oxford where I delivered neuroscience tutorials to undergraduate students, as well as marking essays in the critical appraisal of research literature.
I have recently completed my degree in Medicine at the University of Oxford, having previously graduated with a BA in Medical Sciences. I have been accepted onto a Masters degree in Public Health at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine which is due to start in late September 2024.

I have an avid interest in my subject and I thoroughly enjoy both the learning and teaching process. I believe it's critically important that questions are encouraged to stimulate an active learning process; this is something I try to cultivate in my tutoring sessions. I hope to provide valuable assistance to my students and allow them to develop their understanding and achieve personalised goals in a dynamic learning environment at their own pace.
I have extensive tutoring experience at KS3, GCSE, A level and undergraduate level to a range of abilities both online (MyTutor) and in-person, with over 1300 hours of lessons completed. I primarily tutor Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Further Mathematics, as well as Medical Admissions Tests (BMAT and UCAT) and university application mentoring as well as undergraduate medicine teaching. I am individually responsible for crafting tailored lesson plans for individual students of differing abilities and learning needs (dyslexia, dyscalculia) across a wide range of subject areas. I have received overall 5 star feedback with proven results of student success and achievements.
