Sessions combine clear, in-depth explanations of key scientific concepts with intensive exam question practice. I place strong emphasis on exam technique, including how to interpret questions accurately, structure high-mark answers, and apply mark scheme terminology effectively. This ensures students not only understand the content, but are able to consistently achieve maximum marks in examinations.
For UCAT and GAMSAT preparation, sessions focus on developing both the underlying skills and the strategic approach required for these highly competitive exams, including question analysis, timing strategy, and performance optimisation.
Students also receive ongoing guidance on revision strategy, topic prioritisation, and how to study efficiently between sessions. My approach is professional, supportive, and results-driven, with the aim of delivering measurable academic improvement and long-term confidence.

About the lesson

I am a Graduate Entry Medical Student with a First-Class background in Medical Pharmacology, offering specialist tutoring in GCSE and A-Level Biology and Chemistry, alongside UCAT and GAMSAT preparation. My academic and clinical training provides an advanced understanding of the sciences, as well as the precise exam technique required to achieve top grades and competitive medical school admission.
My teaching is highly structured, personalised, and exam-focused. I identify knowledge gaps quickly and implement targeted strategies to improve performance, confidence, and efficiency. I place strong emphasis on mastering exam boards including AQA, OCR, and Edexcel, ensuring students understand how to translate knowledge into consistently high-mark answers.
I have a professional, supportive approach and work with motivated students aiming for grade improvement, academic excellence, and entry into competitive university courses, including Medicine. My goal is not only to improve immediate results, but to develop long-term scientific understanding and independent exam technique.
