About Meerub
Hi, I'm Meerub! I'm a dedicated English tutor with three years of experience teaching both online and in person. I specialise in GCSE, IGCSE, AS and A Level English Literature and English Language, helping students achieve their academic goals and build their love for Literature.
I believe every student learns differently, so I tailor each lesson to their individual needs, creating personalised resources and structured lesson plans that ensure most effective learning. I've worked with students of all abilities, including those with SEND and English as an additional language, learning to adapt my teaching to every student's unique learning ability.
My aim is to create a supportive learning environment that fosters academic growth, not just in English Literature or English Language, but throughout all the student's academic pursuits.

Every one of my lessons is tailored to each student's individual academic ability, learning style, and goals. I plan and structure my lessons carefully and create my own resources, including revision materials, practice questions, and model essays, to ensure students get the most out of every session and can achieve top grades.
Lessons are 50 minutes long and are available for GCSE, IGCSE, AS, and A Level English Literature and English Language students.
I have 3 years of tutoring experience, both online and in person, and have worked with students of all abilities, including SEND and language barrier students.
Some of my notable achievements include helping a GCSE English Language resit student improve from a Grade 3 to a Grade 7, and aiding an A Level student's progress from a D to a high A in just three months.
