About Vid
I have a BS and 2 MS degrees from Tulane University in which I studied mathematics, neuroscience, bioethics, and economics. Currently, I am pursuing an MD/MPH. I have worked at a private tutoring center and multiple non-profit tutoring organizations. In my free time I enjoy drawing, gymnastics, and playing tennis as well as playing golf and tennis.

I have over 15 years of experience tutoring students from pre-K up to the graduate levels. I tutor several subjects such as mathematics, biology, physics, psychology, neuroscience, economics, as well as all pre-med and medical school courses. I have helped students prepare for the ACT, SAT, and math/science subject tests. Further, I can provide college, medical school, and graduate school counseling. I can work through interview preparation, personal statements, activities sections, and other essays with you. I also have experience tutoring for the MCAT and CASPer exams. As a tutor, I focus on thinking creatively because I believe it is important to be able to find different methods of explaining the material and concepts to students. I like to make tutoring interactive, fun, and enjoyable. I am detailed, creative, patient, and understanding. I have helped many students increase their class grades and test scores. The reason I love tutoring is that I love to help students overcome challenging obstacles and discover strategies to best understand concepts.
