About Aria
I am a medical student with a Bachelor of Arts (BA), offering tutoring in mathematics, sciences, English, social sciences, and humanities. I have over 8 years of experience working with educational organizations and learning centers, where I have supported students through both academic tutoring and academic mentoring.
Alongside subject-based instruction, I have also worked in mentoring roles focused on developing essential learning skills such as time management, task prioritization, study strategies, organization, and effective academic planning. This has allowed me to support students not only in understanding course material, but also in building the skills needed to succeed independently.
My experience spans students from Grade 1–12 as well as early university learners (primarily first and second-year students). I have worked with a wide range of learners in both structured organizational settings and one-on-one support environments.
My teaching approach is adaptive and student-centered, focusing on clarity, structure, and long-term understanding. I adjust my methods based on each student’s learning style and needs, combining guided explanation, active practice, and strategic review. I also have experience supporting students with ADHD and autism, adapting pacing and structure to ensure accessibility and engagement.
My goal is to help students build both academic understanding and strong learning habits, so they can become more confident, independent, and effective learners over time.

My teaching methodology is adaptive and student-centered, focusing on tailoring instruction to individual learning needs, goals, and preferred learning styles. I employ a range of evidence-based strategies, including scaffolded instruction, active recall, guided problem-solving, and structured review, selecting the most appropriate approach for each learner.
A typical lesson begins with a brief assessment of prior understanding, followed by targeted instruction of key concepts broken into clear, manageable steps. This is reinforced through structured practice questions and applied examples to ensure comprehension. Lessons conclude with consolidation of key points and identification of areas for further review.
I differentiate my teaching approach based on the student’s academic level, strengths, and challenges. I have experience working with a diverse range of students, including mainstream academic learners, as well as students with ADHD and autism. I adjust pacing, structure, and delivery accordingly to support accessibility and engagement.
My tutoring is suitable for students from Grade 1–12, as well as early university students (primarily in first and second-year).
