About Joseph

I’m a Welsh-speaking medical student based in Cardiff with a strong academic background and a genuine passion for teaching. I achieved A* A* A* A* at A-level in Biology, Chemistry, Maths and the Welsh Baccalaureate, and I now tutor GCSE and A-level Biology in both Welsh and English.
My teaching style is calm, supportive and structured. I focus on building real understanding, simplifying complex ideas, and developing exam technique through clear explanations, active recall and past-paper practice. I enjoy helping students grow in confidence and achieve results they can be proud of.
Outside of academics, I’m active and creative - I play football, enjoy hiking around Wales and I play guitar in my spare time. I find these interests help me stay balanced, and they also help me connect with students on a personal level.
I’m committed, approachable and professional, and I take real pride in helping students reach their full potential.

About the lesson

I’m a Welsh-speaking medical student based in Cardiff offering GCSE and A-level Biology tutoring. I achieved A* A* A* A* at A-level in Biology, Chemistry, Maths and the Welsh Baccalaureate, and I teach in either Welsh or English.
My approach is friendly, structured and exam-focused. I start by identifying the student’s strengths and weaknesses, then tailor lessons using clear explanations, diagrams, active recall and plenty of past-paper practice. I focus on building understanding first, then exam technique, so students learn how to apply knowledge the way examiners expect.
Lessons are usually 60 minutes (GCSE) or 60–90 minutes (A-level), with options for longer revision sessions.
I’m always patient, positive and committed to helping students reach their full potential!
