About Dhruvi
I am a medical student currently preparing for USMLE exams. I have been tutoring biology, anatomy and math for over 6 years now and regularly conduct crash courses for last minute exam preps, standardized courses, etc. I also excel at helping students come up with a personalized study plan and timeline, so You can achieve your academic goals. I believe that there is no one way to teach all students. Every student comes from a different learning background, and requires tutoring in a different way. I like to start my tutoring sessions by understanding the student's learning habits; are you a visual learner? do you like words or videos? multiple choice questions or essays?
My next step is to focus on filling in gaps to help my students rise to their potential. I assist in understanding the material while memorising it, learning how to answer questions right, becoming faster and more efficient with study time, and practise "study hygeine".
Tutoring sessions with me include assistance in making a schedule and designing a personal plan to achieve short and long term goals.
Academic success is not achieved by books and hard work alone, it is also very important to work smart, exercise your brain and get good sleep

My rate differs based on what the student requires assistance in. Charges may increase if the student requires special assistance (help via email/online) outside of tutoring hours.
A 24 hour cancellation policy applies; If a cancellation is made in less than 24 hours without a reasonable explanation showing unforeseen circumstance, I charge 5$ to reinforce the value of time and professionalism. I will follow the same policy even if I cancel.
