About Holly
I am passionate about science and will start studying medicine MBCHb at the University of Manchester in September 2022. I achieved 3 A* at A-level (Biology, Chemistry and Psychology) in 2021 and an A in my project qualification (EPQ). I now want to be able to tutor others in order to be able to achieve the grade they are capable of in GCSE Biology exams. I have studied recently and this means that I am familiar with the curriculum and have study skills that I will be able to share with others. I will be of a similar age to my students and will be able to relate to them, and them to me. I am an enthusiastic and empathetic person, and appreciate how difficult the exam season can be. I will provide a relaxed environment to study online. I will work with my students to identify their individual knowledge gaps, and how they best study. I will do this by exploring curriculum content and their use of past papers. From my own learning experiences I am aware that it can be helpful to explore visual and verbal ways of learning. I had tutoring for my GCSEs and as a result recognise the skills required to answer questions effectively to get maximum marks.
