About Marut
I am a current medical student with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and over three years of experience as a licensed EMT. My training in medical school, paired with a strong academic foundation in the life sciences, allows me to explain complex concepts in anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, and related fields with both scientific precision and real-world clinical relevance. This unique combination of advanced education and hands-on patient care equips me to help students not only master the material but also understand its practical applications in healthcare and beyond. My goal is to make challenging material approachable while fostering long-term retention and critical thinking skills. Whether it’s helping a high school student grasp cellular biology for the first time, guiding a pre-med through MCAT preparation, or mentoring a healthcare professional-in-training through advanced physiology, I tailor my teaching to the student’s unique needs. I began tutoring during my undergraduate years, starting with one-on-one general chemistry and biology sessions, and have since expanded to helping students in anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, and test preparation for healthcare-related exams.
