About Aishmeen
Hello, I'm Aishmeen! I have been tutoring for almost 5 years and specialise in maths and science for students ranging from year 6 to A levels. Over the past 5 years, I have spent hundreds of hours tutoring a range of students with mixed abilities, learning styles and needs allowing me to pick up a range of teaching techniques and tailor lessons to the needs of the student.

My lessons will focus on one topic at a time and typically last 1 hour. Lessons consist of two main components: learning and application. We start with a short discussion on the student's understanding of the topic. We then move on to me explaining the topic using visual aids such as pictures, videos, notes and flow diagrams. I try to make the explanation as interactive as possible, often asking the students if they have any questions and prompting them to answer questions. The session ends with us doing exam-style questions related to the topic, the questions are always specific to the student's exam board and we then mark the answers ensuring specific vocabulary is utilised. As I continue to tutor I will always ask for feedback and adjust sessions to meet the students' needs and learning style.
