About Fauziyah
Nice to meet you, I’m Fauziyah, a medical student at University of Dundee.
I’ve always loved teaching since I was young but as I grew up more and more I’ve realised I would have loved a tutor who guided me the right way for GCSEs or A levels in terms of practice and organisation in order to approach exams confidently. Hence why I use the forgetting curve as a guideline as to how to memorise important content and apply to questions to consolidate in your memory.

During my sessions, I use first 15 mins to recap old information through exam questions to consolidate. Then we use mind maps to summarise the topic and end the lesson with questions to check understanding. The lesson is customised to students' levels therefore closer to GCSEs we complete past paper practice together.
To ensure students become confident, I use a checklist to help students organise their past papers and identify their weaknesses. During my time in studies, I would have loved to have a tutor who kept me on top of my practice and therefore I ensure this happens.
