About Albert
Hi, I am Albert, a second-year medical student with a strong passion for science and an even stronger passion for teaching it well. Before medical school, I built a solid foundation in biology, molecular biology, and physiology through years of coursework, research, and exam preparation, and I am now applying everything I have learned to help other students succeed.
I started tutoring because I remember exactly what it felt like to sit in a science class and feel completely lost, then have one good teacher or mentor break a concept down in a way that finally made it click. That moment changed how I approached learning, and it is what I aim to create for every student I work with.
My students can expect someone patient, organized, and genuinely invested in their progress. I take the time to understand how you think, where the gaps are, and what kind of explanations work best for you. My approach is simple: I help students actually understand the material instead of just memorizing it. Biology, molecular biology, and physiology are full of concepts that seem overwhelming at first but become intuitive once they are taught the right way, with clear explanations, strong examples, and the chance to work through problems together.
A typical lesson starts with a check-in on what you are currently struggling with, whether that is a specific topic, an upcoming test, or a concept that is not clicking. From there, we move through the material at a pace that fits you, using a mix of guided explanation, practice questions, and active recall. I make sure you leave each session with a clearer understanding and a plan for what to work on next.
What sets me apart is my background. I am currently in medical school, which means I have spent years mastering the same kind of dense science material my students are working through, just at a higher level. I know which concepts trip people up, which study strategies actually work, and how to break down complicated topics into something that finally makes sense.
