About Kirthana
I am a first year medical student, and I believe that teaching is a specific skill that can be done with patience, confidence and knowledge. By teaching students, you not only equip them with knowledge but also confidence within themselves, and I believe this is highly important. I hope to provide my fellow students with both courage and knowledge, and will always wish my best to see their progress! In my A-Levels, I achieved A*AA in Biology, Chemistry and Psychology respectively.

As a first year medical student and during my experience in sixth form, I discovered there are specific techniques to be successful depending on each subject. For example, a student may understand the concepts in Chemistry, but applying the knowledge may be tricky. This can be overcome by setting my student exam style questions to prepare them for exams, and going over concepts. My teaching style varies depending on the students' age. In terms of teaching KS2 students, I will use my resources to guide them patiently via practice and careful explanations to establish foundation in their understanding.
