Hi! I’m Samuth, a medical student currently studying at the University of Glasgow, with a BSc (Hons) in Medicine from the University of St Andrews. I’ve worked as an educational mentor, online tutor, and peer supporter, helping students reach their academic goals in subjects like Biology, Chemistry, and Maths at both GCSE and A-Level. As a medical student with a strong academic background and previous tutoring experience, I focus on creating a supportive and encouraging environment tailored to each student’s needs. I break down complex topics into manageable parts, using visual aids, real-world examples, and active recall techniques to boost understanding and retention. Each lesson is typically 60 minutes, although this can be adjusted based on the student’s preference and concentration span. I use a structured yet flexible approach: starting with a quick review of previous material, introducing new content with interactive discussion, and finishing with practice questions to solidify understanding. I’ve previously tutored students at GCSE and A-Level in subjects such as Biology, Chemistry, and Maths, and I’m happy to support anyone from secondary school to sixth form, or even those preparing for university admissions. My aim is not only to help students reach their target grades but also to build confidence in their learning process.
