About Maria
Teaching alongside my medical studies is a personal commitment driven by a deep passion for education and a desire to make a positive impact in the lives of my students. While pursuing my medical degree, I've come to realize the immense value of sharing knowledge and supporting others in their learning journeys. It's not just about imparting information; it's about fostering critical thinking, nurturing curiosity, and helping you achieve your academic goals. My dual role as a tutor and a medical student allows me to bridge the gap between theory and practice, offering a unique perspective that can enhance your understanding of biology and its real-world applications. Together, we can embark on a meaningful educational journey, where my medical insights complement your learning experience, and we grow together as scholars and aspiring healthcare professionals.

Having sat the most recent exams I have all my
knowledge up to date when it comes to exams boards. I
studied Maths, Biology and Chemistry at A - Levels and I
am now studying Medicine.
I have past teaching experience as well as this I'm a
student myself so I have mastered the most effective
approaches when it comes to learning.
I typically run 2 hour sessions - the first half covers all the content and allows me teach the student which allows them to comprehend the knowledge. The second half then covers application of knowledge which is essential in doing well in their exams!
My methods of teaching the content vary between different student depending on how I assess their learning.
