About Sepehr

My name is Sep and I am a medical student at the University of Sheffield. I play the guitar and drums and love the outdoors! I have worked as a tutor for nearly a year now and have other formal and informal teaching experiences in cadets, volunteering in local secondary schools, mentoring younger students and working ambassador and managerial roles for award-winning organisations and initiatives such as AILEM.

About the lesson

My lessons are tailored to each student’s individual needs, whether that means breaking down complex concepts, building strong exam technique, or boosting confidence through consistent practice. I use a variety of teaching methods including visual aids, exam-style questions, interactive discussion, and spaced repetition to reinforce key ideas. Lessons typically last 60 minutes, but I’m flexible depending on what suits the student best. I’ve worked with GCSE and A-Level students, especially those in Years 10–12, and have seen improvements by 2 to 3 grades. As a current medical student with A*A*A at A-Level and ten grade 9s at GCSE, I bring recent, first-hand experience of the exam system and know how to help students perform at their best.
